Vast amounts of information are available to people working in rural development.

This section of the Rural Initiative website offers a list of rural development programs operating in Nebraska, and a collection of almost 100 Nebraska maps covering a wide array of subjects, along with a map-based searchable database of Nebraska local food producers, called MarketMaker.

In 2010, we compiled a list of organizations and firms in Nebraska which promote energy conservation and alternative energies which is also found in this section of our website.
